On colours....
"Its yellow,"my mum says poking at the lettuce on her plate.
"No, its clearly green."
I don't know why, but debates on colours are very important in our family.
"I think its green," piques my sister.
"No, its yellow."
"Green."
"Bev?"
Right, I forgot to give my verdict. All eyes on me.
"Magenta?"
My sister rolls her eyes, I hope they get stuck like in the Enid Blyton Story where a boy screwed his face when the wind changed direction.
"You're no use"
Cue shrug.
The argument goes on and now my mum has been accused of being colour blind.
It's a piece of lettuce , tired and dangling, awaiting its preordained fate.
So I go "Oh god," and plucked it off her plate.
"There. Now its eaten. Happy?"
Silence, but silence has never sat well with anyone with an opinion.
"Must be the hormones," my dad suggests with raised eyebrows.
"She has hormones?"
Clever Tiff.
Edit/ Why would anyone let Hilary Duff near a microphone?

My chem teacher drinks tea from conical flasks because he's cool like that.
Apparently SPH is launching something bigger than STOMP...
In Chinese!
I have no idea on how to respond to another stomp-alike portal.
For those in desperate need of a handphone, feel free to check out their pre-launch game.
Basically, you just try to snap pictures of graffiti, doughnut worshippers and Paris Hilton look alike. I think they threw in a flying monk somewhere too. And a flamingo. No game is complete without a pink flamingo.
While this is sort of addictive, an alternate time-waster is the LINE RIDER game
Get the little dude to stay on a straight course and try for loops and curves.
Before i forget, here's to one of the best flash animators in the macabre/horror/fairytale genres.

Mushrooms must be my favourite classification of fungi.
Thus, hail the mushroom king. He's friendly.
Today's english oral was interesting on all accounts. Its seems that the O level oral has developed a penchant for really weird passages and topics.
Therefore, I concluded that we should give suitably weird answers.
Examiner: Do you enjoy going to the Supermarket with your family?
Me: (Rambles about the valuable opportunity for family bounding)...
I also enjoy the senseless elevator music at the supermarket because its very soothing. Besides that, there is always something new in the frozen meat section. There was this one time where they had pig hearts for sale and it was fascinating because i could identify the aorta and the arteries and prepare for my biology exam.
I just got rocked by a 7.9 earthquake.

I'm not sure how many people have picked up A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle but it was one of the first book that I've read which mixed fantasy and science.I was Primary four, the concepts were facinating. I spent a great period of time relating Madeleine L'Engle's concept of tesseracting to anyone who would listen.
She has left us but I think she pretty much immortalized herself with her books.

Walking through a supermarket is really therapeutic.
I can almost imagine an army of pink droids.
Reading magazines at a hairdressers is very difficult. You have to stay still, look straight ahead while trying to pursue a battered copied of whatever it is they give you.
They have this magazine segregation thing at the hairdressers. Cleo for women and the FHM for men. If your age falls somewhere in between they give you some japanese hairstyle magazine.
Well, it happens at the shop i was at anyway.
Dreamt about chopping vegetables yesterday and then i looked up the dream interpretation book.It means I need spiritual nourishment. Oh and dreaming about many snakes means you have psychic issues.
Hokay.
Then I woke up this morning and felt that I needed to know someone who could make crop circles. Later, I told Zhuwei and Myra. They laughed.
I remembered there were no crops in Singapore. All we have is smelly hydro vegetables things that have sprayed nutrition. Which reminds me that i read somewhere that they have this whole place where they kept food at sub zero degree in case an apocalypse happened or we choked on our own smog.
The crops part made me sad.
The smog part urged me to write a story about Gaia.
I should dye my hair blue.
