No free speech in Singapore
"I have always felt that a lot of things are unfair in Singapore. However, those feelings were toned down when a horde of my narrow-minded relatives keep telling me that my feelings are aroused because I, like many other teens in Singapore, am influenced by the western culture. I'm Chinese, and they think that i should stick to the traditional beliefs, which are considered the best. I'm not prejudiced against my own culture, so I decided to take things easy and accept the fact that I'm never going to be able to make my family understand what I'm thinking. However, my determination to make a difference has never been stronger now. I know that the government is opposed to anybody who stands up to it because they do not want trouble. I can understand that but until recently, I learned that in my lessons that Singapore is a free country and the citizens are allowed to use their voice. If they give us this privilege, we are supposed to use it correctly. As in correctly only in praises and compliments? Racial discrimination isn't wildly strong but sometimes, we still can't see eye to eye and that's because there is lack of understanding for each other's cultures.[more]

My day...

Over and over again you will hear all the children all around the world ,no matter in what language,"i am bored..." But have you noticed the older they get the more often it is repeated.....When you are young everything is a mystery and you can be occupied for days wondering and pondering about the answer....However as you get older you yearn for better adventures,better knowledge....You do not take interest of your surroundings anymore...You are blind to the wonders that are created each day....Locked in the mindset of so called better things.....

To start a new way would be to actually listen to your teacher at school...She/he can unfold fantasies way better than yours...Whats more?? THEY ARE ACTUAALY OF USE! Dun seat in class all glassy looking and wondering about that boy/girl,computer game or wadeva you like......I know it sounds hard but try. First 30mins then 35mins....Slowly increase, by the end of it,you wouls have leart...Simple? You bet.


You will never be bored again. Trust me.

Holiday is over.I am back in school,not that i am complaining or anything but why must we wake at 6am in the morning just to get to school?! Hellloooo....It is an unearthly time to wake up.I mean my fren in nus high skool only needs tp get to school at 7.45am What is with singaporeans and theie" letz wake up early so that we will not be late for being early."Seesh...but 6 years of practice helped.But i am still not happy.Oh yeah and D&t is getting me confused....display unit or not display unit....CAN THE TEACHERS MAKE IT CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Wow itz onli the first day of school and already so many complaints....Dun get me wrong i am happy that they gave us our ez link cards.Now i can borrow books! Isn'y reading the joy of life weellll some of u no but to me it is...I g2g homework and tuition later bye...Sigh.

FEVER! I hate my flu or cold...I never learnt to define.Homework almost finished...Do u like my new layout? OK this is definetly a short one...NOT.
I went out yesterday fine and now i am sick again...My rend has the cutest dog yet.....Too bad i have a phobia of dogs......Yikes. It was hot yesterday and the smell of haze was overwhelming....So my mothers says...how come she can mell so many things other plp cant? weird...........i have to run byby

day 2 with flu

Holidays!

A week of holiday....does that mean a week or relaxation or juz doing homework?ugh.
I am down wih a flu,stuffed up nose,mebbe i should not have gone to that walkathon yesterday.I mean we walked 5km in sentosa and then we walked back and got lost cuz cheapskate tan could not walk and bring a map to guide him(CHEAPSKATE).
We had fun though,mr wong got dunked and we played by the sea, itz nice.(sorta)
Funny thing was that the slogan for the walk was "Walk for cancer.".Definet grammer mistake....Who wants to walk for cancer??? Lame-.-"

Well, i chatted to Mandy today,she is an official webby with a whole lot of responsibility. I bought a new printer at last now i juz need to set it up.Its cheap.
My friend moved in to her new home....Really her room was all purple and more purple...I think she needs more colour coordination skills....Purleeezzz...either that or no one listen to wat she says cuz usually she colou cordinates very well....
I have to do my homework....Bye.

Ok....guess wat...dun follow that rule cuz if you dun succed at all well most plp wun think you tried so no point wasting effort destroying the evidence.REALLY.anyway not that all of u live by this philosiphy ....Annoying thing...I think you will undersatnd this Mandy although you are in Canada.....I got my report book back today,letz juz it wasnt the best i did...ok letz make it even simpler,THIS IS THE WORSE REPORT I HAD EVA HAD IN MY WHOLE LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and my i.q isnt even that low.
obviosly i am not plsed,hey my maths is failing which is surprising cuz i thot i would fail my design and tech(i didnt,)And my art,dun let begin abt art...Sometimes i believe our teachers deserve the nicknames we give them.Sissy farty(art teacher.) farted out the sissy(not really but u noe in a wat that woman disciminate wat we do....He is a man!!!) Actually he is my only problem....BUT STILLLLLLLLLLL.....i cant believe that i almost got a C for art......Seesh.
