Being away from the internet and trying to catch up is not the best idea in the world.
I'm going to try anyway because I've all this blog post scribbled in this note book. Although the thing about writing things down is that you never want to let the world to see them on hindsight.
I spent my first week in school most probably in a shell-shocked daze. Partly because I couldn't figure out where my class rooms and also because being plucked from an (almost) entirely chinese community to a place with pretty hair colours can be unnerving.
Oh and the 2:1 boygirl ratio has also completely derailed me.(I don't get half the things that boys do, I mean is it normal that you throw things on the roof to see if it will cave in?)
Doing catch up on blog reading was fun.
An open letter:
Dear Everyone,
Just how are things going on back in the JCs?
Love Beverly
Answer because I'm seriously curious at what I'm missing out. Or not.
There will be photos, to the minute scribbles and maybe a bit of nostalgia as February closes as the 'Catch-Up' month.
Edit/I'm sure most of you have heard of the Victorian Bush Fires. It is as devastating and it is still burning. I'm not sure if you would be able to understand if you weren't there but on the day on the bush fires, the wind that blew was oven hot. The horizon was ominous, red in some places and a death grey in others.
If you can (get your parent's permission) the Australian Red Cross still needs donations to help with the bushfire victims.
